Before you can put a WordPress website on a domain, the domain has to point to your WordPress hosting.
1. Add the domain
Domains bought from HostBring are already connected: skip to step 3.
For a domain bought elsewhere:
- Open Domains, then the Add New Domain tab.
- Type the domain and add it.
2. Set up its DNS
Choose one of the three ways:
- Configure on HostBring: you change two nameservers once (easiest).
- Configure on Cloudflare: if your DNS is on Cloudflare.
- Set up DNS myself: add the records at your DNS provider.
3. Wait for Connected
On the Domains page the status changes from Waiting for DNS to Connected. Press Check again to check now; we also keep checking for 7 days.
The domain now shows under Ready to use when you install WordPress.
